Test your paint!

StockSnap_WOLPB93I4JI got my big art catalog today. It is is a two pound, bound encyclopedia of every imaginable art supply on the planet. Talk about confusion!

I was thumbing through the magnum opus when I came across this description. It was for one of the mediums they were selling. You’re gonna love this.

BLEACHED LINSEED OIL

High quality, cleaned and bleached, blah, blah, blah.

The description ends with this statement:

“…though slight yellow tint may affect white pigments.”

YA THINK???

We’ve written before how linseed oil will yellow your paintings.

Two things blow my mind about those eight words.

Are they selling yellowing as a benefit? Or do they think you just don’t care?

The other thing that amazes me is what they don’t say with that statement. What they don’t say is that you won’t notice the yellowing on non-white pigments.

Do you see how crazy the art business has gotten?

Most painters don’t have a clue what’s in their paint let alone what it will do to their paintings.

As we have said before, you shouldn’t believe the claims of any paint company – even US!

You should find out for yourself.

We buy other companies’ paint because we simply can’t believe what’s on the market. We have to see it for ourselves. And it’s shocking.

We’ve shown you photos of Magic White™ ripoffs with yellow oil floating in it. We’ve tested the oil content of other paints and watched the excess oil leach out of the tube. That is not thick paint!

We’ve also watched that oil turn yellow over time.

But don’t take our word for it.

Test it yourself.

Hang a tube of paint upside down on a piece of canvas board. Loosen the top of the tube, so it stays on – just barely. Tilt the board to about a thirty-degree angle. The angle will allow the oil to drip out of the tube.

It may take a while for this to happen. If you live where it’s hot, put your canvas board in the sun, so the paint will heat up inside. That will loosen the oil.

Let the oil drip down the canvas board. Wait. You’ll see with your own eyes how the color of that oil will change. This oil is what you are putting on your paintings.

And remember what we’ve written before. That color will get darker and yellower over time.

Let me be perfectly clear about this. Don’t take our word for it. Test it yourself!

You see Bill understood the importance of quality paint. He spent years perfecting the formula for his paint. He wanted to make sure that you would be successful with his method of oil painting. We have stayed true to Bill’s formula for making his thick, strong paint.

Try our Primary Paint Pack special. You get the three primary colors of yellow, red, and blue. As Bill says, “Yellow, red, and blue will do.”

You also get a free bonus download of one of Bill’s paintings that use just those three colors. Order the paint pack. Then send us an email and tell us which painting you’d like. We’ll send you a link to download the video.

We know our paint is the best paint on the market and when you use it, you’ll realize it is too.
