Bill put his paint out every single time, the same way! (We’ve watched over 200 of his videos, and we can verify that!) We’ve seen some painters put their paint out in different spots until their palette is a mess. It’s OK if you’re used to that method of palette management, but I can tell you, as a beginner, it was very confusing. Maybe that’s why Bill was such a great teacher. He understood how confusing this part of painting could be and taught his students this simple, but effective method of paint management. Oh, and by the way, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci laid their paint out the same way!
