As Bill aged he spoke, on more than one occasion, about no longer being around to teach or enjoy this beautiful world. Bill truly appreciated every day he was alive and lived it to the fullest. He was also interested in leaving a legacy and encouraged his students to think about that as well. As artists we are uniquely positioned to create and leave legacies for our loved ones and friends. Paint every painting as if it will be a masterpiece…because…in fact it is. It is a part of you that lives forever.
