In this video clip from our free “Paint with Bill” art course, Bill creates a very simple fir tree using the fan brush and the 1″ brush. In this clip, rather than highlighting the tree trunk from the light source side, Bill chooses, instead, to create a shadow on the reverse side of the tree trunk. Bill shows you there is more than one way to create great paintings.
