There are several things to learn from today’s Video Tip.

Key Points To Consider:

• The background layer is thin and wet.
• Bill uses his Script Liner Brush to create a weathered tree.
• He dips his brush in Odorless Thinner. We no longer recommend using thinner for anything. Not for thinning paint and not for cleaning brushes.
• We recommend using Alexander Magic Clear. it is non-toxic and won’t damage your health or your painting.
• Bill thins his dark paint to an ink-like consistency so it is easy to draw his tree.
• He is twisting and turning his brush to give the illusion of an old winded, gnarly tree.
