In this video, Sharon demonstrates an important concept. If you place color on your canvas in one area, it needs to be elsewhere. Sharon does a good job of showing how she can pick up the dark from the background to create a mysterious row of trees.
Points To Consider:
- The canvas is wet.
- She uses the corner of a clean, dry fan brush
- Sharon picks up the background color and moves it where she wants it to create a row of trees with varying heights..
- She softens the hard edges using a Hake Brush. (We call that the Bunny Brush. Not because it is made from bunnies but because of its softness, Buck Paulson affectionately named it “Buck’s Bunny Brush.”,
