Daily Tip Day 363 Tom

This object lesson will help you understand an important concept.

<p

Perspective is everything!

<p

This video tip comes from our Beyond Master Class. In this video, Tom reviewed a project that Danielle is working on. He uses an object lesson to show how cobblestones would look further away. We thought you would enjoy learning along with us.

If you apply this method to your paintings, you will achieve a realistic result.

Happy Painting!

Laurie and Dawn

Your videos will only start to play, then stop at less than a minute. I am on an old eMac, but they used to all play. Any help for this?

Thanks for this lesson. I have saved many of these for reference notes. Laurie said they would be not available very soon. If we have flagged the post will
The notes stay even though the video is gone? Please give us fair warning before taking them down as I want to write down the notes.
    Thanks.

This is very helpful, especially with Tom doing the object lesson. I think this may apply to painting water lilies as well, to get the right perspective. I noticed this in a recent painting when my lily pads didn’t lie down as they moved away from the foreground.
